ANDERSON HUMANE
"Bringing people and animals together, for good. A one-of-a-kind animal welfare organization, Anderson Humane focuses on creating and supporting mutually beneficial relationships between people and animals. Current programming such as our Adoption & Fostering, Military Veterans’ Program, Riding Therapy and Healing Paws Pet Therapy, create positive, impactful connections between people and animals, improving the lives of both. Respect. Protect. Connect."
SNEAKER HEARTZ
"For all of us sneakers are essential for day-to-day life while for sneaker heads they are a creative expression of life. That creative expression brought us together for a bigger purpose, getting sneakers on the feet of those who need them most. We do this using multiple platforms. We put Sneaker Heartz drop boxes out at local businesses so people can drop off gently used or new shoes. We also sell apparel and have fundraisers and use that money to support different creative youth outlets that could use an extra hand. This could be gear for sports, instruments for music, or supplies for art. Come check us out."
BATAVIA CLOTHES CLOSET
The Batavia Interfaith Clothes Closet is a not-for-profit volunteer agency that is directed and operated as an extension of the food pantry by community and local church volunteers residing throughout the greater Fox Valley. Those who visit and use our Clothes Closet are our neighbors and friends: people with disabilities, seniors, low income families, and families who have lost their jobs. Certified Food Pantry Clients are eligible to shop at the Clothes Closet. The Pantry issued card is required at each visit. Clients may use the Clothes Closet twice a month.
